Grimes opened Grimes Mower Service & Firewood, LLC in 1999. They began their business repairing
and servicing small engine equipment part-time and splitting and selling seasoned firewood. When their son, Michael
Grimes, Joined the family business, wood pellets, trucking services, and premium wood mulch were also added. They
originally split their firewood with a residential log splitter in their back yard but now hundreds of cords a year are
processed using a firewood Processor, two skid loaders, and a multitude of trucks and trailers.
All used to better
serve our customers.
Today, Grimes Mower Service
is a full time business - open 6 days a week and offering a wide range of services including: small engine
repairs (by a Briggs & Stratton certified service technician), new & used power equipment, wood pellets, mulch and
both residential and Prepackaged firewood.
